About Me
I have lived my entire life in Desoto County and have lived in Hernando since I was 12. I am married to Michael Lashlee and we have 5 children, Grace Dooley (Dakota), Anna Fears (JP), Lacie Hiskey (Matt), Logan, and Landen Lashlee (Katie). We also have 6 beautiful grandchildren, Everleigh, Bella Banks, John Lathe, Silas, Mayleigh, and Eli. My hobbies include making pottery, painting, reading, bird watching, crocheting, and spending time outdoors with my husband. I graduated from Hernando High School and obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Crichton College in 1994. I graduated from Arkansas State University with a Master of Science in Education degree in Gifted and Talented Education in 2015. I earned my Specialist in Education degree in Gifted and Talented Education at Arkansas State University in the summer of 2019. The 2023-2024 school year will be my 25th year of teaching. I taught third grade for seven years, and this is my 18th year teaching SPOTLIGHT. I came to Lewisburg Elementary when it opened in 2005. I taught at Hope Sullivan Elementary before I came to LES. I love being a part of Lewisburg Intermediate! I love where I was born and raised, and am committed to DeSoto County Schools. I love teaching your children and look forward to a wonderful year! |
